Get ready for our synchronic meet! We will only use the Oxford book today! Open your books on page 30 and 31. Keep a pencil or pen at hand.  

Pre-reading visible thinking routine: Look at the pictures on pages 30 and 31 and We will complete the chart SEE, I THINK, I WONDER. 

In I SEE, take the time to describe the pictures using as many adjectives as you can. Spot and underline the past verbs in the text.
